Jef Kaminsky, the artist behind the exuberant children and creatures for Twenty by Jenny, is the author and illustrator of Poppy & Ella, published in spring 2000 by Hyperion.  Jef also illustrated Bite Me: I'm a Book and Bite Me: I'm a Shape by Sarah Weeks, published by Random House, and Stickamajigs by Martha Atwater and Jef Kaminsky, also from Hyperion.

Jef is the vice president of television development and programming for Scholastic Media, the entertainment division of Scholastic Inc, where he has worked on projects such as The Magic School Bus, Clifford the Big Red Dog, I SPY and Turbo Dogs TV series and Clifford's Really Big Movie.
